What is the Chatterbox?

The Chatterbox - Family Edition teaches important life skills to families through asking great questions, playing fun games, providing invaluable information and assigning reinforcing tasks. Studies have shown that if we actively participate in a topic, we can retain 90% of what we are learning!

How do I use it?

Once you have purchased The Chatterbox - Family Edition, choose one card. Read the card and make sure you, as the adult, understand the topic. Then, introduce the topic to your family and complete the tasks and games. It's that simple!

What age is The Chatterbox appropriate for?

If you children are old enough to ask for something, they are old enough to start learning with The Chatterbox. We recommend age 3 as a starting age.

How much time do I need to set aside to use The Chatterbox properly?

How long you choose to spend on The Chatterbox is up to you. The first time you use The Chatterbox, it might take you a little longer until you get used to the format. It is dependent on each topic and how long each family wants to spend on it.

Do we always need to use The Chatterbox as a whole family?

While The Chatterbox is designed to be used by the whole family, there may be topics you think are important to review with a particular family member. Once again, it is dependent on each family.

Can I use The Chatterbox at the cottage or in the car?

The Chatterbox can be used anywhere you can used anywhere you can have a conversation.

What if I want more information on a specific topic?

We usually quote several books in each section which are great sources if further information. Additionally, it is fun to research as a family any topic you may want to study further. Finally, check out our resource page for free information.

What if I don't understand a topic?

We have tried to make each topic simple and clear. If you need further clarification, please send your questions or comments to customerservice@chatterboxgames.com

Will there be a 2nd edition of the Family Edition?

We will be releasing different versions of The Chatterbox which will include additional cards for The Chatterbox - Family Edition.

Can I buy The Chatterbox in a store?

At this time, The Chatterbox is available online. And in select local stores in Central Ontario. Click here see if there is a store in your area, or you can Order Online.
